DINA BAKER FUND FOR MATURE FEMALE ARTISTS
Ms. Dina Baker has established the Dina Baker Fund for Mature Female Artists with the Cultural Council to help stabilize and strengthen the careers of female Artists sixty (60) years of age or older who reside and work in Palm Beach County, who have recognizable artistic merit and who are deserving of financial assistance (whether professional, personal or both) to enable them to further their artistic development and achievement.
A grant of $10,000 is awarded to one individual meeting the eligibility requirements and demonstrates artistic merit and financial need. Funds can be used to support professional development, arts-related exhibition expenses, equipment, supplies, healthcare costs and/or basic living expenses. In addition, the recipient receives a one-year Artist Portfolio membership from the Cultural Council and a solo show in the Cultural Council gallery. More information

We are looking artists/artisans to submit work to be sold at the Cultural Council’s Roe Green Uniquely Palm Beach Store. If you’re an artist who works on small dioramas or sculptures, glass works and other objects d’art OR jewelry—necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings—we want you! All price ranges and styles/material are welcome.
Applicants must live or work in Palm Beach County for at least 6 months of the year AND be a member of the Cultural Council.

Teaching Artists Wanted

Description:
Resource Depot is seeking teaching artists for our after-school program through Prime Time of Palm Beach County. Our teaching artists go out to local after school sites & conduct 6, 1 hour long classes through a span of 6 weeks. We are looking for a candidate who has a flexible schedule, as this is considered a part time, independent contractor position. All classes incorporate making projects with reused materials; each class is about having fun and engaging students to become advocates for the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle movement.
