The Lake Worth Beach CRA, LULA Lake Worth Arts and HATCH 1121 present “Cottage Charm” the Seventh Annual Comm{UNITY} Exhibition
Theme: “Cottage Charm” – celebrates the unique and varied cottages located throughout Lake Worth Beach. These cottages create a picturesque look of our beach-side town. Put on your creative hats and create art that interprets our cottage charm!

• Show Dates: September 6 to September 28, 2024
• Application Deadline: Thursday, August 1, 2024 - 4pm via EMAIL
• Artist Notification: Thursday, August 15, 2024
• INTAKE: Saturday, August 24 & Sunday, August 25, 2024 - 10am to 2pm
• Opening Reception: Friday, September 6, 2024 - 5pm to 8:30pm

Step 2: Electronic Submission CHECKLIST - All items below must be completed:
• Submit $40 entry fee via PayPal -OR- mail check/money order postmarked 8/1/2024.
• Email one image of each art work in a high quality jpeg (maximum Size 1200 x 800).
• Images may be used in marketing and print materials.
• Label each image in the following manner: (any incomplete entries will be discarded)

{Criteria}
All entries must complete the following items correctly. Any incomplete applications will not be considered.
1.) There is a $40 entry fee per person. There is no commission paid to LULA LAKE WORTH ARTS/HATCH 1121.
2.) This is a juried show with 2 jurors. The decision of the jurors is final.
3.) All works must be submitted electronically for juror review.
4.) Each artist may submit up to two (2) works for the show. There is no guarantee that work submitted will be accepted.
5.) Artists must live, work or be a business/property owner in the City Limits of Lake Worth Beach (zip codes 33460 or 33461). This could include being a member in one of the art co-ops, galleries or businesses.
6.) SIZE LIMIT: 2-Dimensional: 3 feet x 3 feet. 3-Dimensional 3 feet x 3 feet x 10 feet high. The artist is responsible for delivering the work to the show location. Work must be display ready and gallery WIRED for hanging (No saw tooth hangers).
7.) All mediums are welcomed. Works must be completed in past 2 years & not previously exhibited in a Comm{UNITY} show.
8.) Images/work cannot show full frontal nudity, violence or anything overly graphic.
9.) DEADLINE: 4pm FRIDAY, August 16th for work to be submitted for review.
10.)..Artists will be notified by email which work (if any) was selected for the show.
11.) No substitution of selected work is allowed. Art must stay displayed for the duration of the show.
12.) The artist will be responsible for any sale of art work. No commission is due the show.
13.) By entering the show, the artist releases Hatch 1121, the City of Lake Worth Beach, the Lake Worth Beach CRA, show organizers and volunteers from any damage to or any theft of your work. We do not carry insurance on your work.
14.) Any work selected for the show can be used for promotional purposes with proper credit given.
15.) Any work not picked up by 12/30/2024, will become the property of Lake Worth Beach Cultural Renaissance Foundation.
16.) Artists exhibiting in Comm{UNITY} show are expected to sit in the gallery for a minimum of two (2) hours.
17.) By entering your work in the show, you agree to the above criteria and conditions.
